Taliban attack military column next to the "Village Green"

The explosion of a booby trap car driven by a suicide bomber was followed by a firefight.

At least two Afghan civilians died.

It was the biggest attack since July.

Authorities believe the attackers had as objective the Village Green, an area of refuge to a large number of international officials.

Last year, an attack in the same circumstances and to the same location caused the deaths of at least 7 people, mostly civilians.
