Turkey: Kurds upset with reforms of Erdogan. Ocalan considers withdraw from the peace process

For the second consecutive day, the Kurdish minority became involved in clashes with police in the middle of the protests against the reform package unveiled last week by Turkish Prime Minister.

In the region of Bezabde, in Southeast Turkey, the Kurdish population attacked with molotov cocktails, police responded with water cannons (and tear gas)

At the same time, the leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers ' Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan, said he is considering withdrawing from the peace process. The head of the PKK believes that the process "has not advanced since it began" and that has been conducted "unilaterally" by the Government.
