America remembers JFK

America pays today tribute to President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, assassinated in Dallas for 50 years. The high point of the ceremonies held in Texas City, in Dealey Plaza, where Kennedy was hit fatally.

The words of the Mayor, Mike Rawlings, moved the 5000 people who could access the site of the ceremony. The bells of Dallas doubled during the minute's silence in memory of the first Catholic President of the United States.

In the end it was inaugurated a monument in which is an excerpt from the speech that President Kennedy would deliver on that fateful day.
