Germany willing to hear Snowden about wiretapping Merkel cell

The Germany is willing to hear what Snowden has to say about u.s. wiretapping the phone of Angela Merkel. This is the reaction of Berlin, after meeting in Russia, between the former official of the national security agency of the United States and the German Green MP Hans-Christian Stroebele.

In a letter delivered to Mr, Snowden says willing to be heard in Germany. But, to do this, you must have the guarantee of not being extradited to the United States.

"The solution to come to Germany, which would also be a humanitarian solution to Snowden, will only be possible thanks to a strong political will of the German Parliament, the German Government but also of the Government and the American Congress," said Stroebele.

The solution would, eventually, by the granting of the title of resident to Snowden. But, for now, Hans-Peter Friedrich, Interior Minister didn't mention that, concentrating on meeting with Rep. Green: "I don't know what they discussed, but if you want to give us information and Snowden has something to tell us, so we'd be happy to hear from you, because any clarifications and information that we have are good."

Edward's lawyer, Anatoly Kucherena, Snowden said, however, that your client may be heard by German prosecutors, but such a hearing would have to be made from the Russia.

The former NSA consultant â€" which the United States accuses of espionage and want to sit in the dock â€" do not run the risk of losing the temporary asylum which was assigned in August last, by Moscow.
