Thai Government mobbed in the streets and in Parliament

In Thailand, tightens the siege on the Government of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. After the mega-demonstrations that swept the country, the Thai Parliament began debating a motion of censure tabled by the opposition in order to overthrow the Government.

Yingluck Shinawatra decreed the State of emergency in the capital, Bangkok, and important part of the surroundings, after the protesters had occupied part of the ministries of finance and Foreign Affairs.

The Government is the target of unprecedented criticism in Thailand.

The brother of the Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, was removed from power in a 2006 coup and forced to go into exile, accused of abuse of power and sentenced to two years in prison.

The Government of Yingluck, elected two years ago with a large majority, is seen as a continuation of the power of Thaksin, who ruled the country from 2001 to 2006.
