Rebels control oil State capital of South Sudan

The international community multiply efforts to prevent confrontation between the power in Juba to rebels of the former Vice-President Riek Machar to become a full-scale civil war.

The head of diplomacy of South Sudan says "Machar managed to escape down the Nile to his village, Adok, from which launched an attack on government institutions in Bentiu.

The United States withdrew its citizens of Bor and reinforced the military contingent, after the attack that wounded four American soldiers in the city. President Barack Obama said that, "if necessary", further action could be taken.

The conflict between Machar and President Salva Kiir broke out the 15 December. Only in the capital, Juba, the fighting did more than 500 dead. The head of u.n. humanitarian operations in South Sudan made reference to "hundreds of thousands" of displaced people across the country.
