Ukraine: Protesters harden protests against regime

The Centre of Kiev towards the residence of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, dozens of drivers led the anti-Government protest to the door of the House of Viktor Pshonka.

The strategy is part of a new tactic of activists. Actions are planned for this Sunday against the head of State, the Prime Minister and the President of Parliament.

"Let's pass the three primary requirements of Ukrainians â€" freeing the innocent who are in jail, punish criminals, and the resignation of the Government," said the leader of United opposition, Arseniy Yatsenuk.

The arm wrestle against President Viktor Yanukovych remains standing, even more so after the brutal assault on a journalist and opposition activist. The police charged five suspects, but opponents argue that it is an attempt to divert the suspicions of government complicity.
