Turkey: New great purge in police

Is the biggest change in the tables of the police at once after the judicial investigations â€" without knowledge of political power â€" which led to the arrest of businessmen and politicians, including the children of Ministers of Interior and economy.

The Government of Prime Minister Recep Tahiip Erdogan justified the changes with what claims to be a State within a State, an internal network connected to a faction, which was suggested as being led by an Islamic cleric exiled in the United States, once his ally.

Since the scandal broke on December 17, almost a thousand officers were removed from functions that were occupying.
