United Kingdom: Jury legitimized police in the death of Mark Duggan who was at the origin of the riots of 2011

The jury inquiry also concluded that Duggan had no gun in his hand when he was hit, but that just before, when the police stopped the cab in which followed, threw away a gun.

The announcement of the decision was received with insults and shouts of "murderers".

"Most people in this country know that Mark was executed. Was run and that's what we believe in. We will continue until the last breath. For Justice, the Mark, for his children and for all who died at the hands of the police for nothing, nothing ... We haven't given up. Without justice there is no peace, "said Carole Duggan, Mark's aunt.

Mark Duggan, 29 years and father of four children, was killed August 4, 2011, in Tottenham, in North London.

Two days later, a March in his memory degenerated into rioting and violence spread to other cities, including Birmingham and Manchester.

There were four days of violence, the worst in the country in 25 years, which resulted in the deaths of five people and wounding dozens of others, in addition to damages of several million pounds.
