Thailand: opposition plans to take to court elections

The announcement follows the decision of the Electoral Commission that will investigate possible irregularities committed during the election campaign.The opposition claims that the State of emergency decreed last month led to approximately 12 million voters if they saw prevented to exercise their right to vote.On the streets of Bangkok, the number of protesters who for weeks have blocked some of the main intersections of the city would have diminished.Last month, the Government imposed the State of emergency in an attempt to control the protests of the population.The opposition, however, claims that it remains determined to oust the Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra from power.
