California forest consumed by fire

The authorities ordered the abandonment of many houses and even a State University, in San Marcos, San Diego County.

This season is traditionally problematic, in the region.

This year, everything has deteriorated, after a severe drought.

In Carlsbad, 40 kilometres from s. Diego, eight houses were consumed by fire, in addition to an apartment building and several shops.

Only in this small village, 2,300 consumers were deprived of electricity.

There's also news of the evacuation of a military establishment and of a nuclear power plant.

Governor Jerry Brown declared a State of emergency.

There are roads cut off to traffic.

The aerial are in constant activity, since Wednesday morning.
