Dsection: Beard fashionable governed

The Portuguese savoir-faire of Viana do Castelo and da Póvoa de Varzim to Lisbon. From Lisbon to Paris and from Paris to the world of fashion. In 2011, the Dsection feel asleep in dreams of Philip Fahmi and Paulo de Amorim Meixedo, woke up after a while on the internet. Then, put one foot firmly in sheets of glossy paper and stood up to industry-wide view.

Nicola Formichetti sits in the front row of fashion and treats for you the editorial sector. Is best known as the responsible for the image of Lady Gaga and, until 2013, as Creative Director of Parisian House founded by Thierry Mugler Mugler. The path that followed made him one of the most influential figures in the middle. A road that intersected with the Director of Dsection at a crossroads of Paris, at a time when the magazine was still breathing online. Paul recognized him, approached him and showed him the project a phone that fit in the Palm of your hand. Formichetti wanted to embark and help. The project shown online, a phone that fit in the Palm of your hand, wore a Cape and a back cover. Now passes from hand to hand.

In 2014 straightened his tie and started the year in the city of lights. Who moves to Paris always improves the appearance. The same happened with Dsection Magazine that appears with a new outfit, with a new design and with a new frequency. Now there are more than 300 pages that are dressed in gala twice a year and accompany the seasonal market of fashion, with the collections spring/summer and autumn/winter. Is a Bible that shows the sacred objects of the universe of chromosome Y. a primer that is a collection object, to keep on the bedside table or near the heart. Reading and praying for more.

Formichetti continues to embark and shows the new collection in the editorial pages. The current Creative Director of Diesel is the special guest of the may issue. Ricardo Tisci had already cleared the way in presenting the spring/summer collection Givenchy's 2014, exclusively, in the pages of Dsection. The legendary Italian designer, which in the last decade made the name of the French House revival and carried the brand to the streets, not only presented the collection, as he himself composed all the visuals for the editorial "The New Ethnic", photographed by Mariano Vivanco. In a conversation in a suit and tie that is the equivalent of seeing the Varzim to win the Champions League.

Paulo de Amorim Meixedo plays at home with creativity. Philip Fahmi dominates the game of words, waist and dollar signs. Together they sit in the front row Paris fashion week with the golden tickets of Hermès, Givenchy or the Louis Vuitton in impeccably cut coat pocket. They sit alongside the Italian publishing giant and look forward to the international market. Together they build a Portuguese magazine, distributed in Paris that runs out in New York. A magazine with a beard that does not rest in the shade of the surnames of the great photographers. A men's magazine, with a beard that conquest almost 30% of female attention. Because, after all, Paris is still a lady and the Eiffel Tower took his hat.
