Ukraine: State's guardian Exercises in Kiev

In the Ukrainian capital effective State guards staged military exercises in an area where government buildings are located.

A possible attempted robbery of administrative buildings was the scenario of the exercises.

"The presidential elections are close, so the temperature of society rises. The annexation of the Crimea and the situation in Southeast Ukraine, Lugansk and Donetsk regions is tense. So we have to use extraordinary measures, "said Valeriy Heletey, Commander of the Ukrainian State Guard.

Under the exercises were used armored vehicles that blocked the street in front of the Parliament, on whose rooftop snipers took positions.
