Central Europe under heatwave

Central Europe is under a strong heat wave from Africa, with temperatures over 30°, well above the normal values for this season.

It is not yet summer. Forecasters predict that this hot weather will continue for a few more days and there to the end of the week back mild temperatures.

In Poland and throughout Europe hit by this heat wave, swimming pools, lakes and public sources have been the most sought after these days.

In Germany, this long weekend of Pentecost is the hottest since the country began meteorological records, in 1979.

Temperatures reached 36 degrees in some places, and, by all indications, will continue at least until Thursday, when Germany will be hit by a cold front on progression of West to East.
