Taxis return to block Central London

Hundreds of taxi drivers paraded idling between Westminster and Trafalgar Square to denounce the inaction of the authorities vis-à-vis the growing number of illegal taxis ".

A driver explains that "are to be assigned licences to left and right, without worrying about the consequences. [Activity] costs to increase, are to authorise the Pedicab and don't care about Uber. Anyone with a little money can do whatever he wants ".

The Mayor, Boris Johnson, is particularly targeted by the protesters, who dispute the proliferation of applications for mobile phones that allow users to connect drivers with passenger cars that offer paths to preferential rates.
