UN wants to prevent growth of "jihad"

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution to stop the foreign fighters to join the "jihad" in Iraq and Syria.

Barack Obama chaired the meeting, which took place for the second time in history. Asked the collaboration of all partners of the United States in combating the causes that make people from various countries, especially conflict zones, join Islamist fighters.

Before, the American President had spoken before the UN General Assembly: "the only language that killers like this understand is the language of strength. The United States will work with a broad coalition to dismantle this network of death. In this effort, we won't be alone. I ask the rest of the world to join us. I mainly Muslim communities to reject clearly and completely the ideology of organizations like al-Qaeda or the Islamic State, "said Obama in front of the House.

The UN Secretary General, Ban-Ki-Moon, added that the missiles can kill terrorists, but only the appropriate policies kill terrorism.
