Israel boosts security

The Palestinian who killed three Israeli soldiers near the refugee camp of El-Aroub, already surrendered to Israeli police.

In Jerusalem, the authorities installed security barriers along the electric station that was the scene of another accident on the eve.

An Israeli claims to feel "safer" with the new protections but hopes not to have to "hide behind them". Another woman says that "it's crazy to have to start putting barriers along at electric stations and at the bus stops".

Wednesday, a Palestinian deliberately launched a truck against the people who were at the station of Shimon Hatzadik, much used by ultraortodoxos who will pray to the Jewish grave namesake, in East Jerusalem. Then, out of the vehicle and tried to assault the passers-by with a crowbar, before being gunned down by police.

This Thursday, at the end of the afternoon, is scheduled a manifestation of extremist Jews, which should finish on the Esplanade of the mosques. However, to avoid further clashes, the police must prevent the entry of ultra-nationalists in space.
