Revolt in Burkina Faso welcomed by diaspora in Paris

Blaise Compaore may still be in power, but the Burkinabe community living in Paris celebrated the indentation on constitutional reform as if the President had already been deposed.

Front of the Embassy of Burkina Faso in the French capital, dozens of people gathered to show solidarity with the protesters in the country, who want to see the President off.

The demonstration was called by the local cell of the MPP, the main opposition party in Burkina Faso. For them, the recent events are an opportunity to sweep the current political power.
