Yemen: President and Shiite rebels agree

The agreement stipulates that the huthis rebels vacate the Presidential Palace and release the President's Chief of staff, kidnapped on Saturday. In Exchange, the project of the Constitution, to which the huthis were opposed, can be improved.

On Tuesday, the rebels entered the Presidential complex after they surrounded the Prime Minister's residence.

The UN Security Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council condemned the "coup de force" the huthis and gave their support to the President of Yemen, who saw the power weakened with input, 21 September, from Shiite militiamen in the capital, San'a.
