Plane leaves the runway on landing in New York

According to information put forward by the airline, the plane that was flight DL-1086 with 125 passengers and 5 crew members on board, was the link between Atlanta and New York-LaGuardia.

Before the accident, the bad weather in New York LaGuardia Airport forced to cancel 40 percent of landings.

"Prior to the incident, at approximately 11:05, landing two planes which confirmed good braking conditions on the slopes. Shortly before, at this track in particular, had been cleaned the snow. Pilots of other planes said they had good braking conditions, "said Pat Foye of the port authority of New York and New Jersey.

The passengers left the plane through the emergency sleeves and were transported by bus to the airport terminal. Delta Airlines not referring any wounded, but sources close to the fire mentioned the existence of some minor injuries.
