Pakistan: Prime Minister condemns attack against Shia minority
The attack occurred on Wednesday in the city of Karachi, in the South of the country. Armed men attacked a bus opened fire on the passengers. According to the authorities, the six attackers shouted slogans against the occupants of the vehicle.The attack was later claimed by the extremist group Jundullah, a group with links to the Taliban from Pakistan.Speaking to the press, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has denounced this attack as an attempt to sow chaos in Pakistan and a attempt to create internal tensions.Referring to the Shiite minority to which the victims belonged, the Prime Minister stated that there was no reason to engage this community.
