President of Germany and Queen of England call for unity in Europe

On an official visit to Germany, the Queen of England asked Europe to protect itself from the danger of a Division on the continent, at a gala dinner in which the German President stated that "the European Union needs the United Kingdom".

In a ceremony that also featured David Cameron, preparing a referendum on the presence of the Kingdom in the Union, and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who along with the British Prime Minister are this Thursday at the important leaders Summit in Brussels, the German President, Joachim Gauck, also stated that "it is essential a constructive dialogue on the reforms that the United Kingdom" in Europe.
