Greece: Tsipras already has Finance Minister and parliamentary support for the negotiations with lenders

Unsurprisingly Euclid Tsakalotos was chosen as Minister of finance. His name was vented in Athens since the resignation of Varoufakis.

At the end of a full day of talks with Greek President and leaders of parties with parliamentary seat, Alexis Tsipras got also the support of the major parties to the talks with the troika of creditors.

The comment of some party representatives at the end of the meeting:

"The Prime Minister received a written guarantee of the full support of political leaders for negotiations with the European Union," says Panos Kammeno, leader of the independence party.

"The party of new democracy proved throughout its history that puts the interest of the country above all else," the interim leader of the new Democracy, Vangelis Meimarakis.

In a joint statement, the leaders present at the meeting reaffirmed the support of the Government, with the exception of the Secretary General of the Greek Communist Party.
