Tension in Burkina Faso

The two halves of the State have been sent to a military camp in the capital, according to the local media.

The crisis dates back to last year when a popular revolt forced the President Blaise Compaouré to resign.

New elections were called, scheduled for October 11. The former President Compaouré and his followers are not eligible.
