Syria: Russia supports UN to sit at the table Assad and opposition

After a meeting in Moscow, Staffan de Mistura, with Sergei Lavrov came to say you expect to reach soon an agreement on the creation of two lists: "the first is the terrorist organizations to which the cease-fire does not apply. The second list is the opposition delegations will discuss with the Government under the auspices of the UNITED NATIONS and under the coordination of the representative of the Secretary-General. "

The goal is to put an end to more than four years of war and stabilize the region. To this end, Staffan de Mistura, the u.n. representative, hopes to help neighbouring countries: "I believe that the regional actors and the international community can lend a hand, appealing to both sides â€" Government and opposition â€" to quickly start arguing, without preconditions, and going directly to the points that were agreed upon at the meeting in Vienna."

A little over a month, the Russia, one of the last official allies of Bashar Al-Assad, decided to become involved directly in the war, Syria with airstrikes.

However, NATO as the United States accuses Putin of attack, above all, the moderate opposition to the Assad regime and not the Islamic State.
