Putin: the Turkey you will regret for having shot down the Russian military aircraft

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, made strong criticism to the Turkish Government during his annual speech on the State of the nation, this Thursday, after Ankara's army had shot down a Russian military plane near the border with Syria last November.

"Only Allah knows why they did what they did. And it seems that Allah decided to punish the Turkish power, depriving him of reasoning. "

Putin also accused Turkey of "fill your pockets with stolen oil" in Syria and in Iraq.

"We know who are the people that, in Turkey, fill the pockets with oil money stolen," said Putin, referring to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his family, which Moscow accuses of complicity with the self-proclaimed "Islamic State or Daesh (by acronym in Arabic).
