Germany will invest 130 1000 million euros on Defence

In charge of defense issues for the German Parliament, Hans-Peter Bartels, claimed Tuesday a significant increase in the budget for the army, which claims to be the "limits of the intervention capabilities".

Bartels is based on the study commissioned by the Defense Minister, Ursula von der Leyen, who revealed that the current state of German military equipment hindered the fulfilment of the obligations of the country, as a member of NATO.

The Germany participates in the international coalition against the extremists of the Islamic State and has effective in Afghanistan and in Mali, where supporting French troops. But, in recent months, have multiplied the criticism about the lack of training and equipment, aging due to successive budget cuts.
