"A prosperous, strong and United EU" means the European lesson of Obama

Barack Obama defended in Hanover, in Germany, a United Europe, the fight against terrorism and the Euroscepticism, the issue of the free trade treaty with the United States.

On his last visit to the Continent as President, Obama evoked the Ukrainian issue, defended the sanctions against Russia and called for a greater European intervention in Syria.

"The United States and the world need a Europe that is prosperous, strong and United. We need a strong Europe to deal with us with a share of the burden of our collective security, even when European countries contribute in operations against the Islamic State, Europe and NATO can do more ".

A defense of all trans atlantic alliances when the trade agreement between United States and European Union is the subject of several criticisms in the old continent.

Obama recalled the need to ensure a military security, but also economic transatlantic level.
