Hungary: Bocuse d'Or Europe to the Hungarian Tamas Szell

One of the prominent figures of Hungarian cuisine, Tamas Szell, was in 10th place in the world finals of Bocuse d'Or in 2013.

The aim of this European final was seduce the palate of the jury with an interpretation of a venison dish and a fish dish based on sturgeon. During two days, the most promising chefs of Europe competed in Budapest, after they won the selections of their countries.

The Hungary stayed ahead of Norway and Sweden. Eleven of the participants got a ticket to the world finals of Bocuse gold to be held in January in Lyon.

The Hungarian cuisine is much more than the ' Goulash '. For Hungary was a big success to organize a competition like the European final of the Bocuse d'Or, but also the fact that, for the first time in the history of the Golden Bocuse, the organising country supplied the ingredients for two main courses.
