Syria: A press trip to the "pax coaster" in Kaukab

After supporting the Syrian regime's war against rebels and terrorists, Russia launches a new offensive, of communication, on the ground.

The Russian Ministry of Defense organized, this Wednesday, a press trip to Kaukab, one rescued in front Al-Nusra, on the outskirts of the city of Hama.

Criticized for its military support to the regime in the bombing against terrorists but also against the moderate opposition, Russia wants to show now that the ceasefire can also ensure peace and reconciliation on the ground.

A resident says: "we abandoned the village for 4 years because of terrorists and we have signed an agreement so we can return to our village and not l et the terrorists go back".

In the light of the agreement of reconciliation, Russian officials claim that 15 Front fighters Al-Nusra agreed to hand over their weapons, in Exchange for the distribution of 7.5 tons of humanitarian aid in the locality.

For Sergey Ivanov, head of the Russian Centre for reconciliation in Syria:

"These fighters who surrender weapons headed to us so that we could mediate their return to the locality. We put us in contact with the Government, we sat at the table for negotiations to reach away the front line of the fighting so that the inhabitants can take care of the land and take care of their children alone ".

T he images of Russian diplomatic action in the field coincide with Moscow's announcement of the withdrawal of 30 military fighters stationed in the country.
