Israel: Thousands celebrate Gay pride in Tel Aviv

Despite the revelry and the apparent opening by the Israeli authorities, the Organization accused the Government of trying to pass a more "pink" who, they say, does not correspond to reality.

Imri Kalmann, Vice President of Agouda, a non-governmental organization of LGBT rights-Lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, Transvestites, Transsexuals and transgenic and quoted by AFP, accuses the Israeli Government of hypocrisy by promoting gay tourism internationally.

The campaign of the Ministry of tourism to attract Europeans to the Gay Pride parade in Tel Aviv, cost 2.2 million euros, ten times more than the annual amount of subsidies granted by the State to LGBT associations.

As for the rights of same-sex marriage is not allowed in Israel, but is recognized, if abroad.
