Ukrainian attempts to divert Turkish plane

According to the Turkish Ministry of transport a passenger who wanted to divert the unit from its route, threatened to detonate a bomb.

The appliance company Pegasus, with 110 passengers on board, was from Kharkov in Ukraine.

The attempt of diversion of the plane failed after the passenger was unable to get into the cockpit.

During the attempt, the pilot issued an AMBER Alert, having been sent immediately an F-16 of the Turkish air force, which accompanied the appliance until its destination.

The plane eventually landed, as was predicted, in Istanbul, running under the supervision of the Turkish security forces.
