One of Greece's most wanted men arrested in Central Athens

Nikos Maziotis was seriously injured in the police operation launched to capture, during which were also wounded a policeman and two tourists. The impressive Manhunt culminated in the alleys of the neighborhood Monastikari tourist near the Acropolis.

The leader of the extreme-left group revolutionary struggle was captured in 2010, but released when expired the maximum pre-trial detention in 2012, and eventually disappear. Maziotis was convicted in absentia last year for terrorist acts.

The group claimed the attack against the Greek central bank in April this year in Athens.
