Arrests in the dismantling of one of the protest camps in Hong Kong

Some clashes and more than a dozen arrests, this Tuesday, in Hong Kong, where police meets another court order for the dismantling of one of the camps occupied by pro-democracy protesters in the Chinese city.

The authorities began to dismantle the field installed in bairro operário of Mong Kok, on the Mainland of Hong Kong, which has been the scene of protests more clamps along the eight weeks that it takes the challenge.

"How can you have democracy if we don't make sacrifices," read a poster held by a senior citizen who, at the age of 78 years, claims to be preoccupied with the possibility of being detained because, if "is arrested and sent to prison", that "will be a greater sacrifice than protest".

The mobilization has lost strength and, today, the cops were almost as many protesters.

Hong Kong wants free elections for the leadership of the territory, in 2017, and does not accept that candidates have suffrage to be ' approved ' by a Committee imposed by Beijing.
