Portugal: new Government could last just 10 days

Five days after being reappointed in charge, the center-right Prime Minister underwent a cast with few changes to President Cavaco Silva.

The Executive, which may last a little more than 10 days, will take over on Friday and is expected to submit the Government programme to Parliament until November 9.

The leftist parties, majority in Parliament have stated already that intend to fail the new Executive during the vote of confidence in Parliament.

The formations had managed to do elect a single candidate for the Presidency of the Parliament, last Friday.
